Privacy at Lovablle
This policy explains the personal information Lovablle processes, why we use it, how it may be shared and the choices available to you.
01
The information Lovablle processes depends on how you use the service. Information you provide when creating or maintaining an account may include:
Your name, email address, authentication information and account settings.
Date of birth and information used to establish eligibility to use the service.
Gender, who you are looking for, location, profile information, photos and relationship preferences that you choose to provide.
Religion, faith or worldview information that you choose to provide. Some of this information may be sensitive personal data.
Information generated when you interact with profiles, matches, messages and other Lovablle features.
Reports, blocks and other information submitted or generated when Lovablle safety tools are used.
Dating services can involve information that is particularly private. Faith or belief, sex and information that may reveal sexual orientation can receive additional protection under applicable data-protection law.
02
We process information to create and operate accounts, provide profiles, discovery and matching features, enable communication and maintain user preferences.
We may also process information to prevent abuse, investigate reports, enforce community expectations, secure the service, troubleshoot problems and comply with legal obligations.
Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law and the consequences of no longer providing the relevant information.
03
Lovablle may use automated rules and algorithms to organise, rank or recommend potential connections using information such as profile details, stated preferences, relationship direction, location and other compatibility-related information.
Recommendations are intended to support discovery. They do not determine whether a relationship will succeed, and they should not replace your own judgment.
05
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to be informed about how your data is used, access personal information, request correction, object to certain processing, request restriction or erasure, obtain portable information where applicable and withdraw consent.
Signed-in members can update profile and account information through available account controls.
Marketing-email preferences can be changed through available account settings.
Lovablle provides an account-deletion control for signed-in members.
A self-service data-export tool is not currently represented here as an available feature. Requests that cannot yet be completed through account controls must be handled through Lovablle's privacy-request process.
06
Lovablle uses technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. Security controls evolve as the service changes.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. We therefore avoid promising that any particular technology makes personal information completely secure.
Where a qualifying personal-data breach occurs, Lovablle will follow applicable notification and communication obligations.
07
Personal information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to operate the service, maintain safety and security, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the reason it is being retained. We do not state fixed retention periods unless Lovablle has actually adopted and implemented them.
08
Technology and service providers may process information in different countries. Where personal information is transferred across borders, Lovablle will seek to use safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
09
You may use Lovablle's available account and support channels to raise privacy questions or request assistance exercising your rights. We may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests.
